Assistant V.P. of Patient Accounting |

An experienced Assistant V.P. of Patient Accounting to our multi facility Hospital system. Responsibilities inclusde overseeing appropriate billing and collection procedures in orde to maximize reimbursement from third party payors and oversee accounts; Maintaining appropriate internal controls over accounts receivable and cash receipts functions; Monitoring activities with collection agenxcies, insurance companies, admitting, medical records, computer center, patient and physicians; Supervise the billing and collection areas as well as admissions/ registration; Implementing controls to insure appropriate submission, billing and payment cycles. This position requrires a degree in finance, accounting or business (bachelor's degree preferred), along with 5 years of prior Business Office function in a lead or supervisory role. |
